Kiko – Make up from Milano

Kiko is a brand I first picked up on holiday in Spain, I was shopping in Malaga to be exact, and I came across a little makeup boutique which caught my eye. Kiko is an Italian brand set up in 1997.  

I liked Kiko as the range was huge, something for everyone and at an affordable price. I hadn’t heard of the brand before but thought as it was so reasonable I would give it a go. I came away with a Lip Gloss Pencil in 07 and the 3 in 1 shine base coat and top coat nail polish.

So far so good! The nail polish has definitely made my nail colour last longer on my nails and has also protected them (I don’t get as much stain from colouring as I used to). It dries quickly too, a bonus for me as I’m not the most patient with nail polish...

The Lip Pencil is great for on the go. It applies quickly and easily giving good coverage. I always feel lip pencils are good for those who don’t have time to apply much makeup. The colour applies like a pencil but looks like a gloss when on, without the sticky texture you can sometimes get with other lip glosses. I went for a subtle pink colour and it is perfect for everyday use.
